9 things I cannot live without

I think it’s fair to say, we all have certain things in our life that we know for a fact we couldn’t live without..

I’ve got quite a few, although some I could live without, at a push.. they help or add something to my life in some form or another. I thought this would be a fun post, I’ve never done anything like this before and I guess it gives a little bit of an insight into me personally.. and that’s one thing I’m trying my best to do on my blog this year!

My family, dog and friends

I bunched all these three together, just purely because they are all of equal importance to me. I love them all equally and honestly, couldn’t do life without them. I’m a big family person, they are absolutely everything to me.. if I can spend all my time with my loved ones, I will. My dog, well, she’s my baby, my comfort and my best friend all rolled into one. The best part of my day is waking up, walking downstairs and seeing that beautiful little face staring back at me. My best friends, well.. they make me who I am. I’m so grateful to have such amazing friends around me and life would be pretty boring without them!

If you haven’t already guessed, books are my thing. Among with other things, but mainly I just love to read. You can pretty much guarantee I will have a book on me majority of the time and they are my go to when I want to relax. I’m big on self help books and have been for the best part of a few years (check out my reviews if you haven’t already). But if I didn’t have books to read, I don’t know what I would do with my time. They’re my escape and something that brings me so much enjoyment.

Writing equipment

As well as reading, I love to write. Ever since I was younger I’ve always been one to write. If I can write in a notebook about something then I definitely will. I have notebooks on top of notebooks and pens.. let me tell you, I won’t be running out of those for the rest of my life. I’ve always had a fascination with stationary (my parents will vouch for me) and it hasn’t slowed down during my adult years. Not a day goes by that I don’t write something down. Writing equipment is a part of my every day life and I love it.

Baking ingredients

What in the world did I do with my time before I discovered my love for baking? It feels like it has always been such a massive part of my life. First thing I think about when I open my eyes is ‘what can I bake today?’ and the last thing I think about at night is ‘ooh I’m going to try a cake like that soon’. Honestly, right now, I live and breathe baking (as well as reading). It’s something I’m extremely passionate about and quite good at if I do say so myself. So in order for me to make those yummy cupcakes, I need all the baking ingredients I can get.. so I definitely couldn’t live without them.

My ability to manifest.. it’s taken a while for me to get to this point, and in all honesty, I don’t talk about it too much here on my blog, just simply for the fact that it isn’t of interest to everyone and I don’t want to seem like I am pushing it in anyone’s face. I’ve manifested an awful lot up to this point and will continue to do so, I’m also still very much learning, but loving every minute of it. Now I have discovered what works for me, I don’t know what I would do without manifesation.

Water & coffee

You’re probably thinking.. water? Of course you can’t live without water! But let me explain, I’m one of those people who cannot function properly if I don’t have my 2 litres daily. Some people though, a couple of glasses and they’re good to go, me on the other hand.. I’m not getting out of bed in a morning if I haven’t drank the full lot the day before. In order to stay on track and keep my mind focused, I need that water! I will have a bottle on me at all times (a reusable bottle mind), no plastic over here. And coffee, I’m a coffee girl, every single morning, the first thing I do is make myself a cup of coffee and if I can’t have one.. well it looks like we’re off somewhere to go get one. I need my coffee!

Sunsets and sunrises

I find so much enjoyment from watching the sunrise first thing and then set again at night. There’s just something so beautiful about them, I honestly could watch them every single day.. in fact, if I’m on holiday.. you can bet I’ll be stood somewhere watching the sun set every day. They are peaceful and natural and make me feel grateful for this beautiful world we have around us.

My determination for my future. By this I mean, when it comes to where I want to be in life, I know exactly where that is. And at no point do I ever falter. My determination is what keeps me pushing to be the best, it keeps me focused and enables me to know no limits. I feel like once you allow yourself to have a clear vision on what your life entails, you hold onto it and get there by any means possible. Work hard and reap the benefits.

I’m a huge loungewear girl, always have been. I’m one of those people that will come home and the first thing I do is go and change into my comfies. Joggers, hoodies, fluffy pj’s.. the lot! I’m pretty sure I could fill an entire wardrobe with all my loungewear currently.. in fact, that’s a dream for the near future.. have an entire wardrobe purely for loungewear. I’d probably never wear normal clothes again, but at least I’d be comfy right?
