It’s been a while since I’ve done a book review on something other than a self help book. So a romance novel it is. I am still here for romance novels, there was a time when this would have been the last book I would reach for.
But I am obsessed with them and have been for a little while now. This book is by an author called Sarah Morgan, I’ve read quite a few of her books now and I can honestly say she is one of the best authors. Her books are everything I would look for and I know without a doubt that whichever book I pick up of hers, I will love it.
This book was my sunbathing book (quite a few months ago may I add), but it has taken me this long to review it.. I’m not sure why either. But here we are. I felt like the title of the book was fitting with the weather at the time.. we had a couple of weeks of sun, we’re back to cold rainy weather now though, one of the many benefits of living in England… (I hope you could hear the sarcasm in that last bit!)
It is a book about unexpected friendships and forgiveness. But most importantly a book about why we should grab life and anything it may throw at us. I felt all warm inside when reading it. It truly is one of those lovely heart warming books you just can’t seem to put down. It also made me want to spend the entire summer in Paris, maybe I will one day.. who knows.
I bought this book from a little book shop in York last year. I would love to tell you the name of it, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was. It was a small quaint shop in the shambles of York. It cost me around £5, so very much a bargain.
Sarah Morgan is right up there with my favourite authors. I just love her style of books. I am currently reading another one of hers, which I’m sure you will hear about very soon here on my blog. Every book I have read of hers has been amazing, addictive and left me wanting to read more. That’s all we can ask for from a book right?
