Best things to do in Yorkshire

I’m a Yorkshire girl, through and through.. there is absolutely no doubt about it! I only have to open my mouth, say a few words and everyone is like ‘Ahh, she’s from Yorkshire’. And honestly, I’m not mad about it. I’m also a very proud Yorkshire girl. I love everything about it, there is so much to see here.. it just takes someone adventurous enough to find it.

I won’t sit here and say I’ve spent all my 25 years finding all the hidden gems Yorkshire has to offer, I definitely haven’t. In fact, I’ve barely scratched the surface. But since the beginning of this pandemic, being stuck in Yorkshire has given me a chance to do a bit more research into all the places I would like to see. I was honestly blown away by the amount of stunning places there are to visit that I had never even heard of. So you better believe I wrote myself a list of all the places in Yorkshire I want to visit once it is completely safe to do so.

There is no way for me to list them all, it would make for one very long blog post. But I have got a few I would like to share. Maybe I’ll do another post next year, once I’ve had the chance to visit some of the hidden gems. But for now I thought I would share some of the places I love.. you know, just in case you fancy having a nosey round sunny Yorkshire.. (but make sure to check for any covid restrictions before hand).
