This is one of those books that has been on my ‘self help book’ bucket list for quite some time..
I bought it at the beginning of the year, from Amazon and I believe it was around £7. So it’s been sitting in my room waiting for me to read it for what feels like forever.. I started reading it, but for some reason just couldn’t get into it.
I kept trying and trying but would only read a couple of pages at a time, then I would put it down. I think the main reason for this is, it is an extremely good book, but can be a little difficult to digest if you are not in the right frame of mind.
So I’m putting my lack of interest in this book down to timing.. because recently (about a week ago) I decided to give it another go. And straight away from the very first page, it all started making sense, I was reading it every single day and just couldn’t get enough of it.
I’ve never really had that problem with a book before so it was strange for me. I love books and can read pretty much anything, so not being able to absorb the information in this book was kind of frustrating.
But anyway, my point is.. this book is well and truly worth the purchase, but if for any reason you cannot seem to get into it the first time round, give it some time and then try again. Books can be overwhelming.. especially self help books. So it’s important we are open to absorbing and understanding the information and tips they provide.
It is a very helpful and inspiring book and if you are wanting to open your mind to all the possibilities there are in life then this is the book for you. I wouldn’t recommend it as a first self help book, just purely because it is quite complex as far as self help books go.
But none the less, a very powerful book that is filled with all the information you will need if you want to make it in life. So yes, it does make for a prefect book to add to your ever growing collection..
