Let’s talk fitness plans

I’ve never really been one of those fitness type girls, I’m more of a pizza and doughnuts type of girl you know?

Don’t get me wrong, I love to stay healthy.. well, love is a bit strong, we’ll go with like. But as far as health and fitness is concerned, I do try my best. For a while now, I kind of put fitness on the back burner, I went to the gym every so often but never really put my all into it.

That’s why when I heard about this fitness plan, it caught my attention. We’re still in the middle of lockdown and I’m not really sure when it’s going to end. But gyms are closed so the only option is to do home workouts. I did a post previously on home workouts, but as of now, my home workouts are purely down to this plan.

I’ve heard about fitness plans for such a long time now, but it’s one of those things I just never really got round to purchasing. I always figured well I go to the gym, so that’s good enough right?

I found the fitness plan through Instagram, by a girl named Arianna Ajtar. She’s someone I’ve followed for a while now and someone who inspires me in some ways. So I thought if I’m going to spend my money on a plan, I would want it to be on someone I know, knows what she’s talking about (her brother is a 15 year experienced personal trainer). They teamed up to provide a plan that was originally made for the gym, but then added extra home workouts to cater for the lockdown. It also includes lots of nutritional help, recipes and also some spiritual guidance too. So it seemed like the best option for me. It also comes with a private Facebook group where all the members can talk and share results, it’s a positive space to be when you’re on your fitness journey. It is a one off payment of £30 and honestly it is completely worth the money!

I wanted to really kick my health and fitness into action, and what better time to start than when we are confined to our homes..

In all honesty, I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner.. I’m really kicking myself for it, but timing is everything and everything happens when it is meant to. So anyway, I’m currently onto my third full all in week (equipment and protein too) and so far so good. I’ve noticed a real change in my body and my physical strength has got a lot better.

But the most beneficial part for me is the fact that just with that little bit of dedication and determination I’ve managed to make my state of mind SO much better! I struggled with being in lockdown in the early stages (just with the uncertainty), but as of now because of having a routine when it comes to fitness, all round I feel the best I have felt in a long time.

It’s given me structure (which is something we all need during this time). And has given me a massive boost in my self esteem. Another brill thing about this plan is, you don’t need to buy lots of equipment, you only need resistance bands in order to get the best out of it.

Overall I am one hundred percent happy with the plan and would absolutely recommend anyone to buy it! It is honestly the best thing I have done in a long time.
