I first discovered Real Techniques when I’d just started collecting high end makeup. I needed some good brushes to go with my new makeup, but they also needed to be affordable..
Fast forward 7 years and I still have the brushes I bought all those years ago, and they are still in amazing condition. I use them every single day, whether it be a simple glam or a full glam, I always go for these brushes. They’re reliable, I know my makeup will always look flawless when I use them. Not to mention the quality of them and how soft they feel when applying make up.
They need looking after, like any other makeup brushes.. wash them regularly (especially if you use them daily) but also don’t over do it. A spot clean every day or every couple of days fine, then a deep clean once every few weeks.
If you’re just starting out in makeup or just fancy treating yourself to some amazing new makeup brushes, then these are for you! I cannot recommend them enough. Although I have tried quite a few different brands of brushes, none seem to come close to the quality of Real Techniques.
Another amazing thing about these is that they are completely cruelty free (which I always recommend checking for before you buy any products these days).
This brand sell so many different products/tools to make applying makeup so much easier. They keep up with the trends and release lots of new items regularly (I’m a sucker for a new makeup accessory). But I’ve got to say, the thing I love the most about these brushes is how pretty they look! I love a girly product, so it’s only right I have cute brushes to match right?
They have lots of different collections; face brush sets, eye brush sets, every day essentials sets, mini travel brush sets, prep + prime brush sets, eyebrow brush sets, along with so many others! The standard brushes are usually either; pink, orange or purple (which you can buy as singles).. but one thing they are extremely good at is releasing limited edition collections (these are always the prettiest brushes). I’ll admit these are the ones I splurge on the most.. I love a limited edition product, especially something pretty and glittery.
I’m not sure I would class these brushes as high end, but they aren’t as cheap as some that are available now (they’re kind of in the middle). They are still super affordable and you definitely get your money’s worth out of them. They are available in most drugstores in the UK and also on Amazon.
I’ll include some links below to the best brushes and sets available on Amazon (a few of which I have);
