Just some more self help books

You probably already know this, but self help books are kind of a big thing at the moment. They’ve become so popular in the last year or so and if you’re one of the many people who read them you’ll understand why.

I’ve got a few already but not half as many as I would like (My goal this year is to read as many as possible). So I was so happy to find my amazing family had bought me some for Christmas, which I’m extremely grateful for. I’ve got a list as long as my arm filled with all the self help books I want to collect and the ones I got for Christmas are on there. I was so excited about getting these books that I started reading Vex King – Good vibes Good life on Christmas day.. and couldn’t bring myself to put it down (even for my Christmas dinner).

I’ve become obsessed with these types of books (maybe even more than a fiction book). Just purely because you can learn so much from them. They do what they say in the name ‘self help’. Each book has a different direction but for the most part they come to the same conclusion, how to use your mind to better your life and create the things you want the most. But the biggest point of all.. to always be grateful for what you already have.

I understand they aren’t for everyone and I’ll admit, to begin with I struggled to get my head around it all (it seemed a little far fetched). But I figured I had nothing to lose and it would cause no harm to just give the techniques in these books a go. Once I started putting the techniques into practice and using them in my every day life, I started to notice small things happening.. for the better.

So obviously once you see positive changes, you want more of it. This is when I started doing more research on self help books and which ones were the best for me. I read success stories and found out that so many people around me actually read these books and used them to better there lives.

The books recently added to my collection:

  • Sarah Knight – The life changing magic of not giving a F**k
  • Sarah Knight – Get your sh*t together
  • Vex King – Good vibes Good life, How self love is the key to unlocking your greatness
  • Paulo Coelho – The alchemist
  • Napoleon Hill – Think and grow rich

If you fancy giving a self help book a go but just don’t know where to start.. any of these books are a good starting point. (Also The Secret, which is the book I started with). I’ll add some Amazon links below:
