Book Review- My sister’s Bones

My first book review.. and hopefully not my last.

I absolutely love reading! Whenever I have free time, there’s nothing I love more than to bury my head in a book. I’m definitely one of those people who can fly through a book in a matter of days (depending how good it is obviously).

It’s got to be something that grips me, something I don’t want to put down. So I tend to sway towards thriller/ mystery books. They just have that bit more to them, something that makes you want to finish the book right away.

So onto the book review..

This is a thriller novel by Nuala Ellwood. An author I had never heard of before this book, but I honestly cannot explain how hooked I got just within reading the first few pages. At the moment she only has two books released, (the second one I am still waiting to get my hands on). Her style of writing is everything I look for in a book, so here’s me hoping there are many more on the way, just waiting for me to buy them.

It took me around two weeks to complete. I don’t have lots of free time, so the 30 minutes here and there that I get, I spent reading this book. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to finish it!

The suspense is like no other, the twists and turns are something you don’t expect (but what we want in a good book). How the story changes is gripping, as it got close to the end, I just couldn’t put it down. I had to know what happened!

The book is split into three parts, each from a different perspective. All leading to the same conclusion, one you are not anticipating. The ending took me by surprise which made this book all that much better. I love books that have a huge ending and don’t just slowly come to a close. It is a pretty complex story to try and explain and I won’t ruin it for anyone wanting to give this a read.

All I will say is, this is one of the best books I have ever read. And if Thriller novels are your thing, then this book is one you should not miss out on!
